8500 Burton Way is located on a tight infill site with 360-degree views, a wedge of land that sits between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Anchoring a busy intersection, the building fits snugly on its lot, with a modified flatiron shape and rounded edges that doff a cap to Los Angeles’ as a mecca of mid-
century modern. The building features one, two, and three-bedroom units. 8500 Burton Way ups the bar for Los Angeles luxury rentals: marble and metal facades on the
exterior, wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass, lush landscaping on the roof and in the courtyard, a rooftop pool with grand views, and, on the ground floor, the food store that
everyone wants to have in their neighborhood, Trader Joe’s. For a deft interpretation of mixed use, this grand award is well deserved.
