“A forward thinking idea that’s very
much of our time,” the design of this mixed-use community
that will offer 547 homes in a variety of product from 8
to 35 units per acre, including condos with elevators, row
homes, and single-family houses with detached garage units.

The centerpiece of this mixed-use project is a farm to
table living in the form of an a working urban farm. Cannery
Farm will provide opportunities for a community-supported
agriculture (CSA) program for the community’s residents.
Local restaurants, including those within The Cannery’s 15-
acre mixed-use area will be able to source local produce
directly from the farm. Farmers are envisioned to be graduates
of Yolo County’s agricultural mentoring program, the California
Farm Academy Program at the Center for Land-Based
Including bicycle and pedestrian amenities, parks and
open spaces, restaurants, and an active mixed-use shopping
area. To comply with the city of Davis’s agricultural buffer
requirements, the site plan incorporates a stormwater
detention basin, habitat areas. Within the 150-foot
