Judges Statement:

In a prime location on an expansive, fully-fenced/landscaped homesite, a sustainably-designed Dream Home with spacious 11’8” ceilings and an

innovative Italianate architecture was the first-place prize in the 2014 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Dream Home

Giveaway rallied the community to purchase 10,751 tickets successfully raising the most money in one year, $1,075,100! 100% of proceeds were donated to St. Jude

Children’s Research Hospital, which works around-the-clock to develop cures to save the lives of children. Over a majority of land costs, product and work performed

were donated on a pro-bono basis by the builder and trade partners. The builder has helped raise $7,608,345 as major donor and builder of eight St. Jude Dream

Homes to help the kids of St. Jude fight cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

• Earns 112 Green Point Rated points (doubles minimum 50-points requirement)(focus: air-quality, resource-conservation, water-conservation)

• Scores 62 on ResNET HERS scale (typical new homes score 100)(0=net-zero energy)

• Estimated average power bills $201/month (solar savings not included)

• Solar lease included, resulting in additional $21,680 savings over 20-year agreement to save the winner money on their power bill.
